Monday, 28th November
| Welcome Ceremony in the auditorium
Objectifs:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by introducing guests to the local community, enhancing a sense of belonging and friendship;
- Highlight the diversity of music and dance traditions from Puglia Region.
Description
The principal of the school welcomed the guests and provide brief introductions, highlighting their achievements, roles, and contributions of the Erasmus Projects.
Students make a performance of the Pizzica dance, a traditional Italian folk dance.

|Science and technology
Objectifs:
- Show how the lessons of science have changed during the lockdown.
Description
Students have become active learners and the frontal lesson from the teacher has been limited to the fundamental details.
The Internet has offered a great deal of content that has been studied through a flipped classroom methodology. The results are videos and Presentations created by students for their mates thus faciliting the peer-to-peer learning/teaching.

Language lab- Surfing the Heritage sites
Objectifs:
- Encourage students to discover UNESCO sites in Italy and the Puglia region by utilizing peer teaching methodology and collaborative internet research;
- Empower students with the ability to plan cultural routes responsibly using the Internet, promoting digital literacy and critical thinking.
Description
This activity, based on peer teaching methodology, has contributed to discover the Unesco sites in Italy and in the Puglia region by browsing the net in a cooperative way. The students together have planned their favourite cultural routes thus fostering their capacity to use the Internet in a responsible way.

Teal teaching and learning and technology
Objectifs:
- Present to partners about Technology Enhanced Active Learning (TEAL) methodology and its potential benefits within the context of an Active Learning Classroom (ALC).;
- Encourage project partners to develop strategies for incorporating TEAL principles into their teaching methodologies, fostering team-based problem-solving and active learning..
Description
The Technology Enhanced Active Learning (TEAL) has been explaind to the project partners in the Teal classroom that is equipped with round tables for small group work, multiple projectors, screens, and whiteboards accompanying each table.
As an Active Learning Classroom (ALC), the TEAL is meant to encourage engaged learning, collaborative projects, and team-based problem-solving. It can significantly improve student motivation, performance, and passing rates.

The Forest Rangers planting trees
Objectifs:
- Foster environmental education and biodiversity awareness among students through hands-on experience in tree planting with the Carabinieri Forestry for Biodiversity;
- Utilize technology to enhance environmental monitoring and create a geolocated mapping system for the newly planted fragno trees in school areas and locations under the custody of the Biodiversity Unit.
Description
Together with the students the Carabinieri Forestry for Biodiversity planted 4 fragno trees, typical trees of the Mediterranean scrub. The trees planted have a code that will be geolocated for the creation of a mapping of the new trees planted in the school areas and in the places taken into custody by the Biodiversity Unit. This shows how technology can be applied to the preservation of Nature.

Visit of Massafra’s World Library at Palazzo de Notaristefani
Objectifs:
- Enhance students' technological literacy, showcasing the integration of modern technologies in traditional educational settings to foster innovative and interactive learning experiences
Description
Students visit an advanced library model capable of offering innovative services for the promotion of reading and culture, by adopting technological tools.

Visit of MATERA and Alberobello
Objectifs:
- Give a comprehensive and immersive learning experience for participants through a guided visit to Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage site;
- Enable participants to engage in direct and firsthand learning by exploring Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Description
Students learned about the history, unique architecture, gastronomy, and scientific significance of Matera, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of its cultural and historical value. Then they learned the history, architecture, gastronomy, and scientific aspects of Alberobello, providing participants with a holistic understanding of the site's cultural richness and significance.

INNOVATIVE ART TEACHING Workshop
Objectifs:
- Demonstrate the effective incorporation of photography into the classroom as an educational tool, fostering the creation of additional knowledge across various disciplines;
- Empower students to become active protagonists in their learning by utilizing digital cameras as tools for exploration and expression.
Description
The activity wanted to show how to bring photography into the classroom, in daily school practice, as a tool for creating further knowledge. Photography, in fact, can be a great resource in the study and learning of other disciplines. The digital camera elevates our students to the rank of active protagonists, which gives them even greater motivation and gratification.
To use photography in normal school aims at the development of a more attentive look at the world around . Taking a photo represents an activity that requires the choice of the subject, the choice of the shot and the choice of the angle, for which it obliges, to some extent, to a preventive reflection in order to be aware of one's actions.

Objectifs:
- Conduct a workshop with the management staff to address and discuss challenges associated with new teaching and school management methods.

Workshop with the management staff about the difficulties related to the new ways of teaching and managing schools and overcoming them.

Kahoot on European cultures
Objectifs:
- Utilize Kahoot as a digital tool to enhance student motivation and activate learning by focusing on the cultural aspects of partner countries.
Description
This digital tool demonstrated a great power for motivating and activating students' learning because it focused on the culture of the partners’countries , tested their knowledge, reiterated important concepts, and helped them retain information.
Kahoot, used during the lockdown, has proved effective and can be used to teach interactive lessons and engage students both in class and in virtual or hybrid learning. This aims to establish Kahoot as an effective and versatile tool for both in-person and virtual or hybrid learning environments, promoting sustained student engagement and understanding.
Thursday, 1st December
METAVERSE
Objectifs:
- Familiarize students with the concept of the Metaverse and its potential impact on education.
Description
students showed a single, shared, immersive, persistent, 3D virtual space where humans experience life in ways they could not in the physical world.
It is believed that in the Metaverse the quality of teaching will be superbly elevated and teachers will boost the learning experience of students with lively demonstrations on a real-time basis within the real and virtual worlds.

European Storytelling and Gratitude Exchange
Objectifs:
- Foster a sense of unity and appreciation among participants by sharing and celebrating diverse European cultures through storytelling, praising, and expressions of gratitude.
Description
Create a moment where participants express praise and gratitude towards aspects, traditions, or contributions from other European countries.
